Rue Education is pretending to be the place that is really interested in helping nursing students. However, I would like to say some words about their program and other home studying programs too. Be very careful regarding any home study program because it is not as great as it looks like. Students, who decide to finish the education, make payments through loan companies and then do not have money to return the debts. Watch out from companies like Rue Education!

A few years ago, when I made a false start to get my RN, I signed a contract with RUE.I am very sorry, I did that. My advice is first utilize the materials that they offer, and any additional resources you find on your own. An example being using the resources you find here on this board.
RUE is terribly expensive. They charge $3,800 for all the books and testing supplies. If you sign up through them, they are just for the materials, THEY ARE NOT THE SCHOOL! They give you 3 business days to cancel in certified mail through writing. If you try to call and cancel they will not do it. So now that I hadn't done it correctly, I have the collectors calling me for the payments and I'm committed to pay it.
I wish they would pass it off to someone else who wants to join their company, but they won't help me find someone else to buy my books. It's true about the college. They DO NOT endorse these third party programs. So BE VERY CAREFUL!
I'm still a student and have to deal with the collectors calling me and harassing me. They even call my place of employment. And they are going to get their money. The only way that they can cancel is if I get sufficient support to prove I can NOT EVER BE AN RN. I didn't even need their books. And now the collectors are coming after me and there is nothing that I can do over that.
