www.arise.com

I'm thinking maybe the reviews mentioned was because of a phishing site? I don't know yet. I just did the assessment for arise and everything seems legit. I waited a day for a background check which I paid $12.95. I was hesitant at first but there was a lock icon at the top of the window meaning it was secured. I am about to enroll for a certification but I don't know if I should because of the requirements which includes a computer and a phone line. I didn't know that I won't be able to use my cellphone and my laptop. So I don't know if I should continue this or be afraid that they have my information plus I've just wasted my $12.95. Some of the stuff that are really too good to be true will offer you an amount that is really impossible but arise is only $9-$13/hour in becoming a client support professional.

Also contacted by Grace Golas at ISO.org

I am just here to second the scam explained in the Jaunary 25, 2014 review. I didn't hear about Arise Virtual Solutions at all, but Grace Golas did mention the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and linked me to www.iso.org. This organization is based in Switzerland, and while it could have an office in America, none of the searches I did on ISO.org showed any signs of Grace Golas being a Vice President, Chief Human Resource Officer or Grace Golas being associated with the ISO at all.
To set up the interview, some nameless person text messaged me. The number was 707-474-3597, and the person did not respond when I told them I could not locate [email protected]. Because texting was the only method of contact at the time, I sensed it was a scam. When I was finally able to talk with Grace Golas, she told me they were hiring for 16 accounting positions in my area, and did say the nearest open branch was at 3450 Lakeside Drive Miramar Florida 33027, which is the Arise Virtual Solutions address. I have never worked with accounting material in my life, so it was very shocking that they had found my resume compatible with the job description. Then they said they paid $40 an hour...which is more than my accountant cousin of 6 years makes! So they were all red flags. She even excused several of my questions about the ISO, which let me know she was surely not affiliated with them. After the interview was over, I found some emails from Thomas Copeland, [email protected], in my inbox. I did a search on Arise Tech, and that also came up as a scam.
I'm just filing another report with all the names and numbers I was given so it can more easily show up in search results. If you are contacted by any of these people or given any of the contact information mentioned above, it's a scam.

Job scam

I received an email stating I have been selected to perform an online interview. Grace Golas was my contact and I scheduled an interview to see if this was a scam or not. Her email was [email protected]. This to me was a sign that an actual employer would not use a yahoo account to contact potentials. She asked for my name, phone, and location. She stated that they were with ISO.org and needed an accounting clerk that could work from home full/part time at $40 and hour with benefits. She informed me of the address where she works and I tracked down that address and this was an address for Arise Virtual Solutions. I've contacted the Head of HR at ISO and ISO and they never heard of Grace. Grace said she was a CEO and Chief HR officer. During the course of the yahoo messenger interview, she requested to webcam and I started mine up and behold she could not get hers to work evidently. I found out a few peoples name that she should know either at ISO and Arise and she had no clue who they were. Throughout the interview, there were many canned responses that were not tailored to any questions I asked. She tended to use Christian based antics in order for me to gain trust and believe that God sent her to me in order to provide for my family and I should trust her because of this. There are way too many red flags pointing to this is a scam. So if you are contacted by Arise virtual solutions, or ISO, I would not follow through with any sort of interview unless they have an valid email address with their company name in it after the @. Also, be sure to follow up with the companies they mention they work for and see if this is a real thing or not. Real businesses do not hold yahoo or any other type of messenger interviews. And should be able to talk to you over the phone. So for those of you naive enough to go blindly into a job, please take head of my words and move on elsewhere.

job scam

I started to work for this company about a months ago. Their representative contacted me by phone and offered a job position as independent contractor. I liked terms and conditions and also an opportunity hat I can work part time and from my home. They asked me to pay for the start package for my computer which I received straight away after I paid, so after the installation I revived several tasks from them and I started to work. My main duties were to contact customers and to provide part of customer support. after one month that I spend working for them I received no payment. I thought it was a joke or a mistake so I contacted this company but received no response. I was ignored with all my claims.
Later I found negative review about this company which also stated about the same so I guess now this is just a kind of well build scam. I regret that I wasted my time with them and I want to prevent other people from this.

Very Arrogant and disrespectful to say the least

After 5 weeks of training, 4 hours per day, and an additional 2 to 3 hours of practice and study per day to boot, 5 days per week. And after passing all on-line exams, just when I thought I was about to work for the client Rogers communication, the Instructor has the gall to send me an email saying that I don't know how to operate the systems.

This is pure nonsense, I had technical difficulties at times, with logging into their systems, which is quite common. But to just boot you out of the training with all the time and money you spent preparing to work this client and without notice is pretty classless. Their motto seems to me is that "We have thousands of people standing in line to get into one of our class and we certainly don't need you." Very Arrogant and disrespectful to say the least.

Stay away at all costs

I suddenly received a call from the company called Arise Virtual Solutions and at first I thought that it is a kind of advertisement, but then they told something about Microsoft and I really thought that they work in cooperation. Then I started listening more careful and when they told that they have received alert message from my IP address, I agreed to pay for some program that was supposed to help me to repair the computer. At that time I believed them and didn’t even think that my computer could be ok. When I sent them money for the program, they sent back fake link and all this happened during one call. When I tried to open the link, I found out that it was not working. I tried to contact the company and understood that I only have the phone number. When I called them back the number was not working. I tried to call them during the whole week and only 5 days later someone picked up the phone. I explained the situation and they promised to discuss the situation with their manager and call back. I have never got the call and I don’t know what happened with money up till now. Stay away!

Scam

Arise Virtual Solutions called me to inform that my computer had many viruses and that they could help me clean it up. At first I thought they were trying to sell me their software but they said they could check to see if my computer was still under warranty and if it was I was entitled to their product at no cost, as well as getting a refund in case I need it. I was stupid. They got my debit card information and instead of using it for ID verification they took money out. The tech support guy I worked with made me do the transaction through Western Union over and over saying that sometimes there were glitches. I questioned why the amount kept changing then got suspicious and asked him why I was not typing my name in as the receiver. Only then I decided to call to my bank and to get the details of the transactions. I found out that the money went to India. I cancelled my debit card and was told to call the bank when it opened in the morning. The only information I have is that I was to be contacted by executive person from technical support. He advised me against calling Western Union or my bank and promised to call me tomorrow after he will find out what happened and if there was an error they would transfer the money back into my account or write me a check. He said that calling the bank or Western Union would only cause delays. Scam.
