The Berrien clan (Amanda, Katie and Michael) are having judgements added daily to their growing lists of creditors and mounting financial problems. Berrien, failed to extort two past employees who are heading a class action lawsuit against the Bernie Madoff of Business Credit aka MIKE BERRIEN AKA CORPCREDIT AKA TRUE BUILD CREDIT.

It looks like the Berrien's are being evicted, and from the look of things around Casa Creepy on good ole Newport Boulvard, the lights are off and the all their multiple office suite doors are padlocked. Chase Bank can document employee checks have been bouncing. Berrien is hiding again, or he's back on the run and willing to black mail his police officer men's group or defame anyone that asks for unpaid wages or a refund. Just take a look at this thread.

Hi this is Mike with TB, here is a lot of babble nonsense about things that are basically so far from reality they it's not really appropriate to even reply. TrueBuild has never added a bad trade to any client, the only way to fail at this program is to not pay bills on time, this posting itself is not even real as we are not in Utah but in Newport Beach, the complaints are actual fake complaints and we have never even remotely offered grants or anything remotely close to that. This is not a program looking for free government money but for successful entrepreneurs looking for access to capital, with perhaps struggling personal credit. As the oldest standing company in the industry about 95% of content related to business credit comes from us with 35,000 clients now and being in business 14 years. There are about half a dozen real complaints and not this nonsense and legitimate places like the BBB you can find those. All of them are in relation to having a hard time on the client's end with paying the new credit bills on time and a few we accept full responsibility for as we could have offered better customer service, most of those many years ago now and we have an amazing staff that simply does not exist anywhere else.

With that said and with more clients than all other services in this industry COMBINED we are a target for defamation threads like these from other angry forum posters trying to take down sites like ROR, small mom and pop shops that are unsuccessful in our space and flame others, and of course outright lies and nonsense like all of this here. Business credit is real; it is NOT a welfare style grant from the government for those that have failed to find a job or any other nonsense. B2B credit is larger than consumer credit and there is no other resource in the world like us that has been around 14 years and has had 6,000 active clients and kept the industries only stellar and real reputation.

Most of this is so comical like saying Denny’s scammed me when I bought a sweater from them. It’s completely irrelevant and fake and the subject of a rather large defamation lawsuit. It is reputation scammers pretending to fight against reputation scammers and are the scammers themselves. Yes it is that comical. I signed up my LLC with TrueBuild Credit two months ago. As a new company, many of us are exposed to BS practices of scumbags trying to get money out of us. BE CAREFUL! Since that time, a derogatory mark was inserted into the D&B file for the same exact amount that this company is charging me, in total . This occurred AFTER they called me asking to discount the payment plan I signed up for, by close to 200 (close to 2 weeks ago). I can't say it was them but, as a misc business service with DandB, it sure raises some flags and cause for concern.

In the two months that I have been paying, they really haven't done much of anything besides merge, duplicate files. Which, doesn't cost anything to do and I had to personally take care of, with a letter (pretty sure it was a template) that was emailed to me. I'm very unsure of this company right now but, being optimistic I truly hope that they fulfill their obligations as stated in the contract (which I'm almost is a general template that applies to everyone). Before signing up with them, my business credit was alright but not excellent. I mean I get regular loan requests for between 50-100k but, I would like my scores to be higher than they are presently.

As a side note, I am in regular contact with government and state agencies through my regular course of work. This company (ak CCN, TrueBuild Credit) looks good (as do most people who may have a fraudulent business practices(s)). If you want to apply for or obtain information on government grants or funding, you dont have to pay anything. Any consultant that you hire or firm you pay for to do a free service, is technically illegal UNLESS they actually do that job. If any one or any company does not fulfill their obligations under a contract (CCN, TrueBuild Credit) then you are entitled to file a chargeback with your bank (if you have home or renters insurance most of the time chargebacks that are denied by your bank are covered if you can prove the loss) if they dont refund you. American Express and Bank of America are two of the banks in the business financial market that allow chargebacks on their cards for fraud (Federal law does not specify regulation of business credit and debit cards). In legal terms, this is called consideration when both parties have to do something for each other (payment, providing a good/service, etc) in order for the contract to be valid. It would be in the best interest of everyone to keep your contract so that if their is any problem at all AND they refuse to refund you, any monies paid out can be recovered.

My company does work very similiar to this but, we actually keep you posted and do an awesome job. My cable guy just signed up two days ago :) As this is somewhat complicated yet, redundant work in general, you shouldn't trust anyone with this job unless they have the track record to prove their reputation.

All I ask for at the time to show me one thing that my company could have benefited from. Your technician reply was we called you over 30 times in over a month expand of time. Ouch, and that you would put my file on hold in case I had a change of heart. WoW!!!!!!!! I never saw NOTHING.

I read all the post regarding this company complaints. I called and gave them a chance to build my corp credit because to be honest I couldnt get credit on my own. I've been standing by, pondering this company for years. It looks like this other npg business funding program from 3 years ago. Credit network or something.

This year I contacted customer to ask a cpl questions. This sob got mad at my questions, and said I was wrong...followed by hanging up in my face. Real or not....that blew the deal.

I hired this company back in 2010 and they built my D&B and my Experian.
At the time I paid 795.00. This company is not a scam. I even referred a few people to them.
If you are a real business and need this service, I recommend TrueBuild Credit.

True Mike, you are located in CA not in UT. However, the claims are true and I believe them! You know why, because I was scammed by True Build Credit AKA, The Corporate Credit Network!
I was lied to when signing up for your fraudulent services, denied when asked for a refund, harassed when I cancelled my credit card so you couldn't take any more money from me, and then demeaned/yelled at/and lied to even more.
This is not only a fraudulent service, they also have the worst customer service, well they don't have customer service so scratch that.
So Mike, please try to sue me for speaking the truth about your company. Please, I would LOVE that.

Sorry guys but we are not in Utah and these are fake complaints and you are and will be sued soon for fraudulent defamation. You cannot fight fire with fake compants

Same as the above bloggers. Promised to give my company a line of credit upon completion of their process. Process was complete and nothing. No answer, no call backs. After a few months I called back to find out the status and they stated they would need $100 to reopen the file when they never performed in the first place! They asked for more money after never performing! RUN AWAY!!

Be careful dealing with True Build Credit and better avoid this company. All business with them has to be avoided because it is only about cheating people. They misrepresent their services for consumers and company offers services which may help to improve business especially for small companies. They make plan and also offer help with credit if it is needed. Everything seems to be reliable until you start to use their service - after I signed a contract with them all problems started. I received no service a it was promised. They did less than 10% of full service which I paid for. Then they started to overcharge my bank account without a reason, notice and my permission. When I contacted them about that mistake they just gave me another fake promise to fix the situation (but never did it). Then I contacted them and said that I want to cancel their service because of ineffective work and to get at least a partial refund - they said that service may be cancelled but they don't have refund policy and they are unable to give me money back. They never mentioned it before!!!
Beware!!! This company must be avoided!! Don't support their dirty business!!!

Beware of this fraudulent company, although they look legitimate - they are not!!! At first I thought that it was a government website, but boy I was wrong! They charge my credit card twice for $350.00 and $345.00 without my authorization and it is impossible to get a refund! Don't make same mistake and stay away from them!

I used True Build Credit company to get a grant for my small business. I was sure that it was a government website, but it turned out to be a real crap.
My first conversation with their representative was quite nice. They promised to provide me grant quickly and I only used to pay some fees and taxes. It seemed a good deal and I had no doubt about its legacy. However, after the money was transferred I started noticing strange things. The representative I talked to earlier didn’t take my case but gave it to someone else, whom I couldn’t contact for weeks. I don’t even know if this person really exists.
When I finally understood that this company simply gives me run-around, it was too late. I got no grant, no loan or any other service they claimed they provide. Trying to get a refund I contacted their manager and director and got no result. Everyone in this company became rude and unfriendly right after I asked for a full refund.
I was so upset that I even called to may bank and asked them if there was an opportunity to refund the money. Of course they told that they can’t because too much time passed. My next step is my lawyer. I don’t know if I will ever see my money again, but I hope that my complaint will prevent many people from being scammed like me.

I was searching for a government grants for my small business. When I googled it, True Build Credit website came up. It appeared to be a government website. I filled out my name and contact information to receive more information about grants. They contacted me later that day, gave me information on how to obtain the application forms for small business grants and told me it was $275.00 for access to the forms. After I paid the money, they sent me email with links, but there were no access to forms. Then I received a letter stating my payment terms – 2 monthly payments of $350.00 and $345.00 were taken from my credit card. I contacted the company asking for my money back and was told that there were no refunds.

It is fraudulent financing company and you shouldn’t apply. They also can tell you that you need a co-signer and if you can't provide that they ask for upfront insurance. It is illegal. No one will take upfront money instead of co-signer. Please watch out and read terms and conditions carefully. They ask for money upfront and NEVER deliver the loan. So, you should be aware of this company and their fraudulent business. There are no grants or loans from them ever.
