Really?I've used a credit card to pay for my tuitoin as a last resort (i.e. after not being approved for a student loan, working two jobs during the summer to save for school, working during the school year, etc.). I also don't collect Air Miles, so your argument is moot to me (and may other individuals I'm sure).

They are charging me 100.00 a year for what they call PCI compliance fee

I have called Piotal on several occasions in regards to constant charges be introduced to my account (outside of my contract and without my knowledge). These fees are automatically withdrawn from my business account. I am not informed of these extra fees until I get my statement in the middle of every month. The debit machine they have supplied me with only reads cards by swiping and it is only debit cards that I take. They are charging me 100.00 a year for what they call PCI compliance fee. The first time they charged me for this (processing chip information). I called them and told them I should not have to pay this fee because my machine that they supply me with is not programed to read chip cards. They said it is now a standard fee that everyone must pay and they took it from my account. That was Dec.2010. They did it again this year in Dec., but I thought it funny to receive a call in Nov. 2011 from their sales dept. Tracy asking that I fill in another agreement and they would send me a machine that does read chipcards. I asked her why I was paying for PCI when in fact I don't have what they are billing me for, she stated it also to be a standard fee. I noticed on the new contract agreement that she e-mailed me, she had put the original date of my contract (May 20 2009) but had changed the fee amounts to reflect new fees that they are billing me for.

Needless to say I told her that I was not filling in this new agreement, and that I want to be reimbursed all these extra fees that they stole from my account. Now they have also added a terminal maintenance fee on to my account after they told me when I signed up for this machine that they do all repairs when needed while I have a lease on it.I have tried talking to several people to no avail and they say I can't get out of this contract till it's up and they will not reimburse for fess not stated in my contract. If they can change the content of my contract, why can't I and get away from these crooks.

Service was not received

Please read my report about Pivotal Payments. At first I would like to say that it is total scam and fraud and the only thing thy will do is theft. How to call the process when someone takes your money and don’t provide any product and service? They simply stole my money and are not afraid of police and other instances.
I applied for their card program about four months ago and was promised quick and professional service. I got many excuses during few months and then they simply stopped communicating with me. I really trusted them and thought that they had a kind of problem. But now I am absolutely sure that they didn’t even start their work in the first place.
Someone maybe got something from this company, but not me. Actually, they have to refund me the money I paid and also pay me for my patience. Otherwise, I will contact the lawyer and police and BBB and Pivotal Payments will be closed sooner then they will manage to scam someone else.
My advice to you ... please be on alert while ordering any service from the internet. You should explore the company carefully. I know that nowadays many companies simply delete negative comments and leave fake reports about themselves! Don’t become their victim!

Don't trust them!

Hello! My name is Kris Owen and I would like to share my experience with Pivotal Payments in order to warn honest people from doing business with these scammers.

I received an e-mail from Pivotal Payments in May about a chance to rebuild my credit. So I read through everything and even called to see if it was legit and they proved it was so. I applied online for card program on May 18, 2013. I paid total of $100 to get a credit line and after 10-12 business days I still did not receive the card. I checked my e-mail and there was an email from the company saying that I was going to receive my card soon. I called Pivotal Payments two weeks after and they told me that I was going to get my card with a further delay of 2 weeks. Of course I didn’t get it again and I emailed them but no reply followed. When I went to their website a message popped up saying all cards have been processed and delivered. It has been well over a month and I did not get the card so far.

Then I could not get a hold of them for four weeks. Therefore, I filed the complaint with the BBB and told them about it. Is this really a scam? Is there anyone out there that has actually received a card? I was really counting on that.
